Another interesting web site that appear recently on the web. Pimpmysafari.com is a site that reference extensions, plug-ins for Safari. Such kind of web sites exists for Firefox, and so Jon Hicks decided to offer the same for Safari.

A couple days ago we read the news about LinkBack. It seems to be quite an interesting technology. There was a long time ago such technology in NextStep 3.x.
It’s quite interesting to see that third party developer are stepping up to bring such new API to OS X. We don’t have any application right now that will benefit of the LinkBack API, but it’s good to know it exists. We hope it will be adopted by many third party developer. If you are a developer for Mac OS X, working an application that embed graphics, then definetly take a look at it.

There was an interesting post about Answers.com. Never heard about this site before, but it looks promising. So definitely a new site to add in any good bookmarks.
We’ve decided to switch to WordPress for our current Blog… Just to give a try to the different free blog tools available…

While checking our regular web site that potentially will talk about our product, we discover that Pisces homepage was mentionning our competitor iCart. Even mentionning at the end Calillona…
Only problem : we don’t speak japanese, and even with Sherlock getting an exact translation is quite a challenge… So if any of you that read this post and speak japanese can send us a translation on this article about iCart, we will really appreciate.
Today while browsing and looking on VersionTracker.com for some screenshot tools, we bumped into this nice piece of Shareware FlySketch.
A really smart way to take screenshots and annotate them directly without requiring a third party application ! Good job to the FlyingMeat team !
The world of RSS reader is full of choice on the Mac… We have been using for a long time NewsFire, but as everybody know it’s now a shareware, which make us think : should we enter the market of RSS reader ?
We have some good idea on what we can do, and how we can design some kind of new U.I. paradigm, but is it worst the effort ?
While checking our web stats, we discover that Calillona will soon have some competition !
The competition will be coming from Japan with a software called : iCart. Right now it seems that iCart is restricted only to Amazon Japan, but you can bet it will be coming for other countries too. We believe it’s good news to have competition.
If any users of Calillona can try out iCart and send us some feedback about what they like in iCart, it will be great !
